- First and foremost, I'm thankful for my immediate family and the small things that occur between us daily like shared meals, partnership in making a comfortable home, laughter over the antics of the kids and dogs, and being told you are loved every day.
- I’m thankful for my clients both past and present. I appreciate those who wrestle with decisions, leadership issues, career choices, conflict and what it means to be their best self every day. I’m thankful they take the time to work through their thoughts, feelings, issues and questions in a healthy and provocative way with me as their coach. Working with you is an incredible pleasure and a great reminder of why I’m called to be part of this work.
- I’m thankful for colleagues in my life who have sat with me over countless cups of coffee discussing what it means to be a good consultant and coach. I appreciate the shared learning, challenging conversations and advice. The network of professionals I’m associated with inspires me every day and I wouldn’t be at this place in my career without you.
- I’m thankful for friends who laugh with me and at me. You have chosen to be in relationship with me because of who I am, not what I do. You have walked beside me through good times and bad, and the memories we share are priceless.
“Just as we leave the effects of our work behind in results, we leave the effects of our interactions with people in their hearts, minds, and souls.” ― Henry Cloud, Integrity: The Courage to Meet the Demands of Reality.
