Carrie Arnold, Executive Coach and Principal of The Willow Group, has built her career working in non-profit, complex healthcare systems. Carrie has 20 years leadership experience working in human resources, training, and organizational development. She holds a Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Organizational Management, and a PhD in Human Development. She also attended Coaching Supervision Academy and serves as a coach supervisor.
She began her coaching/consulting practice in 2011. Prior, she worked as a director and internal consultant for a large healthcare system serving multiple sites and corporate services in the Denver metro area working in human resources, leadership & organizational development, quality and communications/marketing. Carrie is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Leadership Circle Profile, the Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP), and she is a trained Lean facilitator, mediator, DDI instructor, and teaches at Fielding Graduate University in the Evidence Based Coaching program. Carrie has a strong track record in facilitating team development, change management, shared decision making, and building & facilitating leadership development programs. She serves as an executive coach for leaders in non-profit and for-profit sectors. |
Credentials
Carrie is an accredited coach supervisor. Founded in 2005, CSA was the first organisation ever to be accredited to provide leadership training specifically focused on Coaching Supervision. Since that time, Executive and Business Coaches from around the world have turned to CSA as their education partner. Georgetown University trained - Carrie achieved her rigorous (ICF) accredited program coach training in Washington D.C. through The Georgetown University Center for Continuing and Professional Education. The program was over 150 hours of classroom instruction with an additional 10-20 hours of independent learning over a seven month period. The program examined the links between coaching and organization development while emphasizing coaching skill development on three levels: learning about self as a coach and instrument of change, creating productive and fulfilling relationships in the coaching role, and understanding coaching within systems dynamics. Master Certified Coach, MCC - Carrie is credentialed through the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ICF was formed in 1995 and is the world’s largest resource for professional and executive coaches. The ICF is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high professional standards and providing coaching certifications based on experience obtained in the field of coaching, professional certified peer references, client hours and advanced training. Carrie follows the ICF core competencies in her coaching practice which include co-creating the coaching relationship, communicating effectively and facilitating learning and results. Carrie's ultimate goal when working with a client is to deepen their awareness!

Board Certified Coach, BCC - Carrie is credentialed through the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE). CCE created the BCC credential as a means to independently verify that individuals have met professional coaching competency standards established by CCE and subject matter experts. These standards reflect the common knowledge, skills and abilities of a professional coach. The BCC is a mark of quality and it demonstrates to the public that a professional coach has met educational and training requirements, passed a psychometrically sound coach-specific examination and has a commitment to continuing education. The achievement of the Board Certified Coach credential solidifies the professional identity of the coach.
